The International African American Museum, which opened on June 27, 2023, is a beacon of history and culture, situated on the hallowed grounds of a former shipping wharf in Charleston, South Carolina. This location holds immense historical significance, as approximately 40% of the nation's enslaved persons disembarked at this very site. Today, the museum stands as a tribute to their resilience and the enduring contributions of African Americans to the fabric of American society.

Jennifer Randall, CFH Program Manager and Lead Archivist at the International African American Museum, expresses the museum's pride in presenting Eduardo Montes-Bradley's extraordinary work. "This screening of Black Fiddlers represents not just a celebration of African American artistry, but also a reflection of the stories that resonate deeply with our museum's mission and purpose," she notes.
